Las Vegas celebrates its champions on the Strip

Thousands of people gathered on the streets of Las Vegas on Saturday to celebrate the Golden Knights’ first Stanley Cup win in history.

On this occasion, the famous Strip was closed for the parade, which started at 7 p.m. (local time). The parade started near Flamingo Road and ended at Toshiba Plaza in front of T-Mobile Arena, where fans gathered.

Police maintained high security to prevent a tragedy like the 2017 Las Vegas shootings.

Players and staff from the Nevada team marched on double-decker buses, and a large crowd was in attendance on Las Vegas’ famous thoroughfare.

The alcohol was obviously flowing. The Golden Knights have stayed true to their form, even when it comes to alcohol.

They were carrying several bottles of LeCheminDuRoi champagne, owned by popular rapper 50 Cent.
