The Texas Rangers made a three-run push in the second inning and won a 43rde Victory this season, a 4-2 triumph over the Toronto Blue Jays on Saturday afternoon at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
The Torontonians outplayed the Rangers nine-eight in the game, but couldn’t get more out of them.

Vladimir Guerrero junior made his presence felt and opened the curtain by scoring the first point of the duel. He hit a double hit that allowed Bo Bichette to cross the plate.
Later, the locals made life difficult for Jay’s starting pitcher Trevor Richards. Josh Jung and Jonah Heim each stretched out their arms in the second set, giving their team a two-point lead.
Queen City outfielder Daulton Varsho closed the gap in the fourth inning with his 12th bat of the season, which landed 405 feet from home plate.
Rangers shortstop Corey Seager dealt a hard blow to John Schneider’s men with a solo punch and extended their lead to two points.
Trevor Richards was used to the role of backup pitcher and had a difficult exit as a starter on Saturday afternoon. Gunner, 30, was sent to the shower after three full rounds of work. He allowed three runs with as many hits and the loss landed with him.
Toronto was somewhat of a threat late in the game, leaving two runners on the trails in the ninth inning. However, the Jays were unable to capitalize on it.
The third and final duel of this series takes place on Sunday at 2:35 p.m. at Globe Life Field in Arlington.

Los Angeles Angels star Shohei Ohtani hit his 150th career home run in his team’s 10-9 loss to the Kansas City Royals Saturday afternoon at Kauffman Stadium.
It took Ohtani just 652 games to hit the milestone of 150 home runs and 75 stolen bases. The Japanese was the fourth fastest player in major league history to do the feat after 598 games, behind Alex Rodríguez (646 games), José Canseco (630 games) and Willie May.
