François Chénier, Maxime de Cotret, Marc Fournier, Sam-Éloi Girard, Erich Preach and Richardson Zéphir complete the cast of this series written by François Avard and directed by Ricardo Trogi.
The 10 half hours of the first season will be broadcast on Extra by ICI Tou.tv in the 2023-2024 season.
Here’s the synopsis for Productions Jumelage on Monday: “Couple Myrlande (Catherine Souffront) and Henri (Frédéric Pierre) live between two generations. On the one hand, that of her three children, aged 10 to 20, who were born in Quebec and are more the fruit of local culture than their ancestors. And on the other hand, that of her parents, who were born in Haiti and clung to their roots and the more traditional expectations of their generation. They are omnipresent in her life, especially Henri’s parents who live right next door. But as they enter their forties, Myrlande and Henri finally dare to forge their own path by embracing the new opportunities that present themselves. This personal and professional fulfillment will not be without repercussions for the somewhat tight-knit clan, sometimes for better, sometimes for worse, but always to make us (with them) laugh.”
