It’s no news to anyone that Hollywood is a money machine and that the salaries of actors and actresses are staggering. Want to know how much the highest paid artists make? The financial magazine Forbes has published a list of the most valuable celebrities in cinema in 2022.
The list is divided into the areas of music and film. Today we focus on the top names in creation, production and acting.
It should be emphasized that the list of names relates to the amounts received during the work carried out and therefore does not refer to the equity of each individual.
5) James Cameron
James Cameron is fifth on the list. The filmmaker is responsible for punchy films that broke box office records such as ‘Titanic’.

The producer, director and screenwriter earned just under $95 million in 2022.

Brad Pitt also appears in the list of the highest paid actors of 2022 and there are many reasons for that. First, Pitt sold a majority stake in Plan B, a production company responsible for numerous expressive projects such as the films Moonlight and 12 Years a Slave, in a millionaire deal.
In addition, he made good money with his participation in “Bullet Train”, “Lost City” and “Babylon”. It all added up to $100 million in sales.
3) Matt Groening and James L Brooks
Matt Groening and James L. Brooks are a successful duo. They are best known for creating The Simpsons. With this work, the two even continue to earn money.
In 2019, after the show’s 30 seasons rolled over to Disney+, the duo started earning around $105,000 a year, and 2022 was no different.
2) Trey Parker and Matt Stone
And speaking of a successful duo, Trey Parker and Matt Stone are the secondhighestpaid list for South Park, which currently has 26 seasons.
The duo’s hefty earnings also tie into the deal they struck with HBO Max to sell the musical The Book of Mormon. In total, they earned $160 million in 2022.

First up is Tyler Perry. He is an actor, producer, screenwriter and director and has surprising earnings, mainly from his productions for the Bet channel. In 2023, the artist raised $175 million. Not bad, right?!
