According to military information, Russia again attacked several cities in Ukraine overnight with rockets and drones, including the capital Kiev and Lviv, about 70 kilometers from the Polish border.
In much of the country, alarm sirens alerted people to air strikes for hours. There were no reports of deaths or injuries.
“Another heavy air strike on the capital,” Kiev military administrator Serhiy Popko wrote in Telegram. Around 20 targets were identified and destroyed in the airspace around Kiev. Several hundred kilometers to the west, in Lviv, “critical infrastructure” was hit and a fire broke out, according to the military administration of the city of 700,000.
The military administration of the southeastern region of Zaporizhia said Russia fired on telecommunications infrastructure and agricultural land. It was an attack with seven Russian missiles, explained the military high command.
