‘sister sister’ star Tia Mowry has officially finalized her divorce and won’t pay her ex-husband a dime in support.
According to new legal documents involving The Blast, Mowry and Cory Hardrict agreed to a simple arrangement that would allow each of them to continuously support their children together.
In the filing, the former couple agreed to share joint custody of their two children. Specifically, the duo will split the costs associated with raising their family — including private school tuition and extracurricular activity fees.

The famous actress gets something very valuable in this deal. Under the terms of the agreement, Mowry will have sole ownership of the family home in Studio City. It should be noted that this home is worth $4.3 MILLION. According to Redfin, it is “a 4,871-square-foot home on an 8,496-square-foot lot with 5 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. This home is currently not on the market – it was last sold on October 30, 2015 for $2,600,000. In other words, you.” could be quite an asset since buying the house.
It should be noted that it is possible that Tia paid for the house and simply keeps it in the shared apartment.
Ultimately, Tia won’t pay a dime in child support or spousal support.
An interesting clause in this agreement concerns “new romantic partners”. The former couple explained in detail in the agreement when and how to introduce a new person to the children. Specifically, it says: “Each party is prohibited from introducing the minor children to a new love partner until the party has had an exclusive relationship with the love partner for at least six months.”

Also, Tia and Cory are not allowed to speak negatively about each other in front of the kids. The agreement states that neither party “may speak in a negative, disrespectful or derogatory manner towards or about the other party in the presence of the children or within earshot of the minor children”. They are also forced to ensure that other family members and friends comply with this order.

I wanted to share that Cory and I have decided to go our separate ways. We never make those decisions easily and not without sadness.
