Should major league baseball expand, Montreal would be the second most popular destination for current major league players.
At least, that’s according to an anonymous poll conducted Tuesday by The Athletic website among players in the Manfred Circuit.

If Montreal gets 10% of the vote, Nashville is the clear leader. In fact, the city of Tennessee received 69% of the player votes, a clear result.
In addition to these two cities, Charlotte (5%), Austin (5%), Portland (4%), Vancouver (2%) and Salt Lake City (2%) also received support from some players.
