Pregnant Rihanna shows off her baby bump in jeans at the Louis Vuitton show

Rihanna made a statement as she flaunted her blossoming baby bump on the front row of Louis Vuitton’s Paris Fashion Week show on Tuesday night.

The 35-year-old singer, who is expecting her second child, was born fashionably late to boyfriend A$AP Rocky, 34.

The couple supported Pharrell Williams in his debut as creative director with the Spring/Summer 2024 men’s collection.

Rihanna wore a crop top, jeans and an oversized shirt, all in the “Damoflage” print that Pharrell created for the upcoming collection.

It combines the Checkerboard Damier motif with classic camouflage. A$AP also wore denim.

The pair put on an affectionate show as they took their seats, with A$AP wrapping his arm around Rihanna, who placed her hand on his leg.

Rihanna announced her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl halftime show in February.

Later at the Met Gala with her boyfriend, Rihanna told ET that her last pregnancy was “so different” from the first. “No desire. Lots of nausea. “Everything is different, but I’m enjoying it,” she explained.

Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have been friends and work together for more than a decade, even attending red carpet events together in recent years, but it wasn’t until late 2020 that they officially became a couple.

After the Super Bowl and the pregnancy reveal, the couple appeared on the cover of British Vogue in March, where Rihanna gushed about Rocky being her “best friend” and admitted she can’t remember what life was like before their son was born was in May 2022.

The couple joined a slew of stars, including Beyoncé, Lewis Hamilton and Kim Kardashian, who came to watch Pharrell Williams make his debut as creative director.

An audience gathered by the Seine craned their necks to catch a glimpse of the show, which continued LV’s approach of blending street style with luxury.

“I’m the second black person to ever experience that on the planet, the biggest fashion house in the world,” Pharrell said in a pre-show interview, referring to his job since February.

The 50-year-old singer and producer ended months of speculation by following in the footsteps of friend Virgil Abloh, who held the job from March 2018 until his death in November 2021.

Abloh was the industry’s most prominent black designer and had a reputation for creating a place for street style and laid-back skateboarding looks in high-end fashion.

“My brother Virgil was the first. He has taken so many steps for the house and done so many things. He brought skate culture into this world – even though he was an American black man. “It’s unreal that I get to do that, too,” Pharrell said.

LVMH Chairman and Chief Executive Bernard Arnault and his family, who the star has known for years, have been “extremely supportive” in his new role, he said.

Pharrell first met the Arnault clan while working with Louis Vuitton designer Marc Jacobs to design sunglasses in 2004.

The appointment caused quite a stir despite his extensive experience in the fashion industry, including founding streetwear brands with Japanese designer Nigo and designing capsule collections at Chanel.

But Pharrell dismissed skeptics who doubt his lack of formal fashion training. “I didn’t go to Juilliard for music either, and I’m fine,” he said.
