Regina Duarte has shared a series of behindthescenes photos of História de Amor after Globo decided not to use images of her and José Mayer on the production poster. The artists are the protagonists of the 1995 telenovela.
The Manoel Carlos series debuted on Globoplay earlier this month and the streaming poster features supporting cast members Carla Marins and Ângelo Paes Leme. Check out the poster here.
Regina’s post, interpreted by netizens as a tip to the broadcaster, includes notes on the cast of the series and the following caption:
“Note that once again I’m very candid: I’m delighted to be added to the list of this wonderful cast lol.”
Although Regina Duarte does not appear on the poster, she can be seen in the various commercials for the soap opera that the channel is promoting on social networks. Look here.
The actress’ departure was confirmed by Globo in early 2020. After 50 years at home, the split was by mutual consent and came about as a result of the actress’ decision to take over the Bolsonaro government’s special secretariat for culture.
