It was followed by Seventeen Days in 2005, 3 Doors Down in 2008, Time of My Life in 2011 and Us and the Night in 2016.

Chris Henderson joined the band in 1998 and shortly thereafter they recorded their demo CD which also included Kryptonite.

They gave their CD to a local station WCPR-FM, which played Kryptonite – which eventually became their most requested song for months.

WCPR-FM’s director sent the song to a manager named Phin Daly, who passed it on to De Goot Entertainment’s Bill McGathy – which eventually led to them signing with the record label working on The Better Life album.

Daniel Adair was the band’s drummer from 2002 to 2006.

In 2013, band member Todd was arrested for drunk driving, charged with motor homicide and fired from the band.
