Love Island fans were in an uproar when it was announced that Kady McDermott will make a surprise return to the villa in Friday night’s episode.
The 27-year-old Hertfordshire influencer was known for her fiery performance in season two, where she made it to the finale alongside partner Scott Thomas.
And now she’s single and back for a second try at finding love — and already has her sights set on Zach, Tyrique, and Mitch as her favorite boys.
Fans were thrilled that she was coming back, with one writing: ‘ARE YOU BRINGING KADY BACK??? ‘I got on my knees.’

Her return was hinted at at the end of Thursday’s episode, when she strolled into the mansion in a sexy white bikini.
She has promised to bring back even more of the “mess” and “fiery personality” she was known for in Season 2.

Returning: When asked why she decided to get back on the show, she said: “Not many people can say they’ve been on Love Island, let alone did it twice!”

“I think I’ve been known since season 2 for being this messy. People always ask, “Do you regret it?” I expected to say “yes,” but I was so true to myself and 100% authentic.
“I’ll still be like this now, but seven years later I’m more mature.” I’m still the fiery pocket rocket, but I know what I want and don’t want.
“Don’t get me wrong I will still be myself and the fire that I have is in my soul, I never get rid of it and I love that about myself but I’m a lot more mature emotionally.” Now I know how I can control things better. I’ve grown up a lot.
“Last time I was with Scott straight away and I had such tunnel vision. It will be interesting to see what connections I make this time.”
Speaking about the guys she had her eye on, she said, “Zach is my number one, Tyrique is my number one on looks, but maybe he needs to knock out his ego a bit.” I’d also like to meet Mitch.

Kady finished third in 2016 alongside her ex-boyfriend Scott, 34, while now-married couple Nathan Massey and Cara De La Hoyde won the £50,000 prize.
After a series of failed romances, including with Aston Villa footballer Matty Cash, ex-TOWIE star Myles Barnett and Scott, with whom she lived in Manchester until their split in 2017, Kady is hoping to return to the villa where she Finding love again this week comes like a shock bomb.
She follows in the footsteps of Adam Collard, who returned to the show last year after his 2018 engagement, and Jessie Wynter, who starred in the Australian series but appeared in the UK winter season in February.
Kady’s ‘Love Island’ series first met the likes of Olivia and Alex Bowen, who are now married and have baby Abel together.

Love Island made headlines in season two when former contestant Zara Holland was stripped of her Miss Great Britain title after having sex with Alex on TV, sparking controversy in the beauty pageant community, which has been accused of outdated and anti-feminist views.
Kady and Zara were love rivals at the villa after both vied for Scott’s attention, but in the end it was Kady who won his heart.
The couple dated for over a year, with Kady moving to Manchester to be with Scott, whose brothers are soap actors Ryan, famous for his role in Coronation Street, and Adam, who starred in Emmerdale.
Scott now runs his own talent agency, The Social PR, and hasn’t publicly dated anyone since Kady.
