The Emerson College poll found that 51 percent of respondents said they disapproved of Biden’s performance as president, up 2 percent from April.

Meanwhile, only 41 percent of voters approved of the presidency, consistent with the previous poll.

The poll also found that 73 percent of Democratic primary voters would vote for Biden, which is far higher than his Democratic primary rivals, with just 15 percent saying they would vote for Robert Kennedy Jr. and 3 percent for Marianne Williamson.

Meanwhile, the poll of Republican primary voters found that 59 percent would vote for former President Donald Trump (2017-2021), 21 percent would vote for Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and 6 percent would vote for former Vice President Mike Pence.

According to the survey, if there is a possible clash in the 2024 general election, Biden and Trump are roughly on par: 44 percent vote for Biden and 43 percent for Trump.

The White House chief’s approval rating struggled to get well above 40 percent, and a Portal/Ipsos poll last week showed he had an approval rating of 39 percent.

This investigation comes amid news that the President’s son, Hunter Biden, has agreed to a plea deal for two tax bills while the current Oval Office resident raises funds for his California re-election campaign.
