Anahí reported that she had an accident at work after beginning final rehearsals for her international tour with RBD, which has 53 confirmed dates in America so far and begins August 25 in El Paso, Texas, USA.
On her Instagram Stories, the artist revealed that when the mold for her in-ears (hearing aids used by singers at concerts) was made, she lost hearing due to the incident in one of her ears.
“What you see so terribly is my ear. A few hours ago they were making the mold for the in-ears, the material broke and they pulled on it until they managed to remove it. This was the result as seen in the photo, so it hurts. I don’t think I’ve ever cried from such pain,” Anahí wrote.

In the photo that showed the singer, the hole in her ear can be seen bleeding, so she added: “I can’t hear anything, so I ran to the hospital.” The doctor says there’s a small perforation in the eardrum… I’m in shock.”
However, not wanting to upset her followers too much, the interpreter ended her message by saying: “It’s a good saying: When so much energy moves, things happen that are hardest to imagine, but everything will be perfect. “
Before the accident, Anahí said she was having a great day doing some recordings, presumably for the RBD reunion project. “And so ended what seemed like a perfect day,” Anahí pointed out.
Despite this incident, Dulce María, Anahí, Maite Perroni, Christopher Uckermann and Christian Chávez will return to the stage after 15 years with the highly anticipated Soy Rebelde Tour, which will span cities in the United States, Mexico and Brazil.
