Key Alves officially announced his departure this Friday (23rd). Osasco Volleyball Club to devote time to entertainment. Having been with the team since 2021, she has now decided to continue her career as an influencer, bolstered by her participation in Big Brother Brasil 2023.
Despite the farewell, Alves didn’t rule out a return to the sport, even if not for the colors of the Osasque team. “Today I decided to continue in the entertainment and television industry. I’m sure I’ll be back on the pitch soon, but today my cycle ends with Osasco, the dream team. Thank you, the biggest volleyball crowd in Brazil, you are beasts. And to those who love my work in volleyball, I can only say one thing: who knows, maybe one day the good son will come home again?! Thank you OSASCO,” she says at the end of the message.
Earlier, the libero remembered her and thanked her for her time in the team. “First of all, I want to thank this wonderful team that gave me UNIQUE and UNFORGETTABLE moments. That’s where I met the greatest athletes I’ve seen on TV, you know? “I was at the games hand in hand with my idol two years ago,” he said.
Another issue raised was the injury to his left knee, which Alves had been struggling with since October last year while attempting to recapture a ball on the pitch. “I’m really forever grateful to all of this, thanks girls, coaching staff, everyone [Ginásio Professor José] Liberatti was a dream come true for 2 years. I experienced everything on the field with you, was champion Paulista for the first time and even got an injury that leaves me from the team today,” he said on the subject.
On March 11, three days after leaving the BBB 23, the volleyball player announced her return to the team, writing on Instagram: “It’s about having one family, one team, one team and multiple true friendships!!! Thank you for the whole team and I’m BACK HOME.” In the comments on today’s farewell post, teammate Tiffany praised Abreu Alves with loving emojis.
