Actress Klara Castanho has won a lawsuit against YouTuber Antonia Fontenelle. According to the decision of Judge Flávia Viveiro de Castro of the 2nd Civil Court of Barra, Marcos Paulo’s exwife must compensate the artist in the amount of R$ 50,000 for moral damages. The decision can be appealed. The information was confirmed by columnist Anselmo Gois from the newspaper O Globo.
Klara had previously filed a criminal complaint against Antonia in court for her statements about the son who was donated as a result of rape. The actress stated that she felt “humiliated” by the way the matter came to light and the public judgment she suffered towards her, and said she felt a duty to expose what happened after the publication of the YouTuber’s denunciation.
“Bringing a child into the world and not wanting to see it and accidentally having it thrown away is a crime, yes, the term is ‘abandonment of the incompetent’. Even more so when you have a very good financial situation, a double crime,” Fontenelle said at the time.
According to reports obtained by Gois, the actress cried in the audience when Fontenelle’s live performance was replayed.
