Recently, we have seen an increasing interest among Brazilians in seeking paid employment abroad. A survey conducted by immigration consultancy firm D4U Immigration found a 33% increase in the need for visas that allow you to work outside the country.

With this in mind, Forbes Brasil identified eight professions that offer higher salaries abroad compared to Brazil, which attracts a large number of workers looking for opportunities abroad.
Ranking of the 8 occupations with the highest salaries outside of Brazil
1. Pedagogy: In Brazil, a teacher has an average starting salary of around R$4,250 for a weekly workload of 40 hours. However, in countries like Luxembourg, Austria, Germany and Norway, salaries are higher, reaching 78,286 euros per year in the most favorable cases.
2. Right: In Brazil, the Brazilian Bar Association (OAB) proposes a monthly starting salary of R$5,000 for lawyers. However, in countries such as Switzerland, Denmark, Luxembourg, Norway and Germany, salaries for professionals in this field are significantly higher, ranging from €104,344 to €130,833 per year.
3. Administration: In Brazil, an administrator earns around R$4,472 for a 42hour week. In France, the average annual salary is 83,439 euros, while in the United States it can reach 99,000 US dollars.
4. Accounting: In the Brazilian market, an accountant earns an average of BRL 4,676 working 43 hours a week. In Germany, the average salary for this profession is 61,653 euros per year. In the US, an accountant in the financial manager position can earn about $131,000.
5. Psychology: In Brazil, the starting salary for a psychologist is set by local unions and may vary by region and job category. In Europe, a psychologist can earn around 60,000 euros a year in Sweden and 15,000 euros in Portugal. In the United States, the average is $81,000.
6. Technology: In Brazil, technology professionals can earn salaries of around R$13,000. In Europe, IT managers and software developers can earn around 86,000 euros. In the United States, a software developer can earn annual compensation on the order of $120,000.
7. Medicine: In Brazil, doctors can earn a monthly salary of R$ 10,500. In Europe, the annual average can easily exceed £80,000 depending on the specialty in the UK. And in the United States, the average is $208,000.
8. Civil Engineering: In Brazil, midcareer civil engineers can earn between R$8,100 and R$18,100 per month, while project managers can earn between R$14,600 and R$30,100. In Germany, data engineers earn an annual average of 65,000 euros. In the United States, petroleum engineers can earn $130,000 per year.
