Now, as Mark Zuckerberg negotiates a potentially massive mixed martial arts (MMA) fight with fellow billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, fighters from around the world are reaching out to help him. That includes reigning UFC Heavyweight Champion and all-time MMA legend Jon Jones.
Earlier this week, the martial arts world was in an uproar when Zuckerberg and Musk took to social media to discuss a possible MMA fight. The two billionaire bosses might have been half-joking, but talks quickly picked up speed from there.
On Thursday, UFC President Dana White announced that he was in discussions with both Zuckerberg and Musk and that they were “dead serious” about booking a fight. White went on to say that he would love to promote the matchup and that it would be the highest-grossing fight of all time. Of course, White would take all proceeds from the fight and donate it to charity.
Amid news of a possible duel between Zuckerberg and Musk, a group of fighters took to social media this week to offer their services. One contender to reach out to was Jones, who took to Twitter Thursday to express his support for Zuckerberg. The UFC heavyweight king rides with Team Zuck and is ready to help him train.

“You already know I’m Team Zuck,” Jones wrote via Twitter. “Let me know if you need a training partner!”
On paper, Zuckerberg seems like the best bet over Musk. Even the odds makers think so. Zuckerberg has worked hard on the jiu-jitsu mat and is already working with some of the best submission specialists in the world (see HERE). Musk seems like an intense guy, but if Zuckerberg can enlist the services of “Bones,” it could be a problem.
