A message published on his Telegram channel reads: Mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin of the Wagner Group, said he had ordered his forces back to their bases to avoid “bloodshed”.

This came after Belarusian dictator Aleksandr Lukashenko reported that he had negotiated a ceasefire with the rebels with the support of Vladimir Putin.

And it precedes the arrival of the troops of Ramzan Kadyrov, the dictator of Chechnya, in RostovonDon, a city in the south of the country that the Wagner mercenary group had taken control of on Friday night (23 Saturday (24) .

Earlier, the office of Belarusian dictator Aleksandr Lukashenko said the leader of the country allied with Russia had spoken to mercenary leader Yevgeny Prigozhin.

He would have agreed to negotiate a ceasefire or a reduction in troop movements that began following an uprising that began on Friday (23rd).

Lukashenko says he acted in concert with Vladimir Putin and that securing an amnesty for all rebels is essential to reaching an agreement. (Igor Gielow/Folhapress)
