Harrison Ford He may be 80 years old, but the guy isn’t ready to quit Hollywood yet… In fact, it sounds like he’ll keep acting for as long as possible.
The legendary actor did it Chris Wallace on an upcoming episode of his show, and the CW asked him directly…any thoughts on retiring??? Obviously the question is being asked because of Harrison’s age – but look at his initial reaction… he scoffs!

HF brings up another interesting point: he says that if he doesn’t have something to do, for example professional work on a film/TV set, he’s not doing well. The reason, he says, is that he likes to feel useful. Not only that, but he also apparently enjoys being helpful and supportive. Sounds like he’s saying… As long as he can do that, he’ll keep going.
Harrison also explains what he loves about productions in general – and for him, it’s the feeling of bringing something to life where everyone has a common goal. What’s more, he says he never really plans how he’s going to react to scenes… and just lets it all flow naturally.
There’s another clip from that interview that’s also making the rounds – and it’s about Harrison insisting he’s not playing “heroes”…just regular people doing heroic things. It’s quite interesting to hear him talk about it… he’s quite passionate.
FWIW, he’s actually in the process of playing a superhero in some upcoming Marvel projects… The guy was cast to play Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross, who eventually becomes Red Hulk.
Definitely…expect to see Harrison in many more roles for years to come. Sounds like he’s ready to keep going until he can’t anymore – and the man still has it, even now!
