Brussels, Riga, Berlin The split in the Russian military raises Ukrainians’ hopes for a successful offensive to retake their territory. “Today the world has seen that the masters of Russia do not control anything,” said President Volodymyr Zelensky. “Nothing at all. Total chaos reigns.” Ukraine’s victory is certain.
Experts at the Institute for the Study of War analyzed: The rebellion “almost certainly will affect the morale of Russian personnel in Ukraine”. Ukraine can now try to break through Russian defenses.
