Center Naz Reid and the Minnesota Timberwolves have agreed a three-year, $42 million deal with a player option for last season per Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN. The four-year-old center has spent his entire career with Minnesota. This season he averaged 11.5 points and 4.9 rebounds in 18.4 minutes per game on 53.7% shots from the field and 34.6% from three-point arcs. Reid would have become an unrestricted free agent in July.

Minnesota also field center Rudy Gobert and former center Karl-Anthony Towns, although rumors have it that Towns could be on the trading block this summer.

Reid’s signing makes for one of Minnesota’s two big free-agent decisions this offseason. The Wolves also have corresponding rights to limited free agent shooting guard Nickeil Alexander-Walker.
