Fan Throws Ashes On Stage During P!nk's Show, Shocking Singer: "Is That Your Mom?"; Clock

No matter how many years an artist has in their career, fan attitudes can always surprise them. This Sunday (25), it was P!nk’s turn to be completely still when she noticed a fan throwing her own mother’s ashes on stage during the singer’s performance in Hyde Park in London, England. The situation was spotted by other viewers and naturally ended up on the internet.

The unexpected moment happened when the blonde presented the hit “Just Like A Pill”. P!nk bends down, picks up an open bag from the floor and looks at the fan. The expression on the artist’s face showed that she was quite shocked by the admirer’s attitude. “Is that your mother?” he asked and seemed to get an affirmative answer. “I don’t know what to think of that,” he added. She started singing the song again but still with a confused look on her face. Look how it went:

In the comments of the publication, many users reacted to the strange incident. “She handled that well because I would definitely be nervous if someone gave me her mother’s ashes. I just saw another video of a man coming out to his mom in front of Bebe Rexha so yeah limits! Now I understand why some celebrities are distant,” wrote one Twitter profile.

Another netizen claimed that she knows people close to the woman who “gifted” P!nk and shared the reason for the surprise: “My friends were close to this girl and the story goes that her mother wasn’t because of it went out a lot. She is ill and now takes her ashes everywhere with her. It’s not very interesting for a lot of people, but it’s a comfort to them.”

Ok my friends were standing close to this lady and the backstory is that her mother couldn’t come out often because she was so ill when she was alive so this lady takes her ashes. Now get out there, it’s not for everyone, but if it’s any comfort to this woman, then it’s up to her. However, not for me

P!nk also received several other — and much more normal — gifts from fans during his two shows at American Express Presents BST Hyde Park, including teddy bears, flowers, and artwork. At her performance on Saturday, the artist moved the crowd by bringing her 11yearold daughter, Willow, to sing the song “Cover Me In Sunshine.” “She’s so good. “She doesn’t give a damn,” joked the drooling mom.

What’s more, the star insisted on canceling the entire performance so firefighters could tend to a passed out suitor.
