However, some gamers are not waiting for Sony’s announcement to post their predictions on the Reddit forums. Among all the proposals, a French game stands out that arouses real enthusiasm.

A French masterpiece celebrated by players around the world
As every month, PlayStation Plus subscribers can look forward to a list of must-have games “for free”. And for this new July edition there is a title much more awaited than the others. Sifu, the fighting game from independent French studio Slocla (based in Paris), made a sensational debut on PlayStation consoles (but also Xbox, PC and Nintendo Switch) in February last year. And the players agree: They beg Sony to do this Sifu a free game for PS Plus subscribers.
Praised for his meticulous artistic direction and controlled level of difficulty, Sifu quickly established himself as a one of the best indie games of 2022 – Logically, the Palme d’Or goes to Stray. One of the most defining elements of Sifu is the death of the player character. When he dies, he is magically resurrected in the place where he died but grows old. As the character ages, his attacks become stronger, but his health decreases, making him more vulnerable. So the adventure intensifies…
Free PlayStation Plus games in July 2023 will be announced soon
Besides Sifu, who takes the first place in the leaderboard, players are not limited to a single wish. FIFA 23 is the second most popular choice. After the previous edition was offered as part of PS Plus, many are hoping that the current version will follow the same path. The demand for Alan Wake Remastered is also going strong as gamers clamor for this remastered version of Remedy Entertainment’s hit 2023 action game. Gotham Knightswhich seems highly unlikely.
The expectations are therefore high the list of PS Plus games for July 2023and gamers are excited to see which titles Sony will choose to fulfill their desires.
