Jon Hamm is absolutely ecstatic about being a married man.

“It’s exciting because everything has potential,” Hamm said on iHeartPodcasts’ episode “Table for Two with Bruce Bozzi” on Tuesday, adding that marriage “is what leads to the next thing in life, and that is it’s what I hope – and it is. Travel and it’s exciting.”

Hamm recorded the podcast days before his wedding to actress Anna Osceola, whom he reportedly married Saturday in the Big Sur area of ​​central California’s coast. Osceola and Hamm met in 2015 while appearing together in “Mad Men,” and were first linked romantically in 2020.

CNN has reached out to Hamm and Osceola’s representatives for comment on their wedding on Saturday.

The actor, like most busy people planning a wedding, felt overwhelmed throughout the planning process, saying, “All the details of planning and dealing with it can be nerve-wracking.”

Then, Hamm said, he had an “enlightenment” while walking his dog.

“That kind of calm has settled over me,” he said, adding that it happened as he realized, “I’m going to pay attention and see this whole group of people…all of them are there because they support me.” and.” Anna.”

He joked that the last time he saw a crowd of people supporting him was when he graduated from high school or when he won an Emmy in 2015.

As for the next phase? Hamm said he and Oscoela aren’t sure yet if the next phase will involve starting a family.
