The legendary singer Ginette Reno gave a beautiful gift to several people at the end of their lives and their loved ones by going to the Maison Albatros in Trois-Rivières.
On this surprise visit, Ms. Reno met the residents and their families and took time to sing with the home staff.
“There is something very moving when you see the people who are going to make a big journey,” she says. I’ve learned a lot in my life and I want to pass it on today.
It was important for the singer to recognize the mission of Maison Albatros, which accompanied her sister in the final moments of her life this fall.
“It made me relive a lot of emotions on a big sister level,” she says. I’m always moved.”
The one currently touring to promote her autobiography has no intention of stopping anytime soon.
“I said to God, ‘Don’t come and get me, I want to sing L’Essentiel a few more times,'” says Ms. Reno.
