Taylor Swift Eras Tour: Bizarre warning issued to ticket holders

Bizarre warning for Taylor Swift Eras Tour ticket holders as experts say concert will be ‘physically demanding’

Taylor Swift fans can expect to get some training during her highly anticipated Eras Tour next February.

A study conducted by PureGym found that the 33-year-old pop star’s high-energy show may be “the most physically demanding concert you can attend.”

The study combined the length of their set with their total beats per minute (BPM) average to determine the hitmakers’ “high energy” ranking.

According to the data, ticket holders can expect to walk 15,000 steps, the equivalent of walking 10 kilometers, during the three-hour show.

PureGym’s Chris Collett suggested that concert-goers should schedule a “recovery day” to recover from the 44-song setlist at an average BPM of 122.

Just hours after Taylor announced two more concerts in Australia, millions of eager fans missed out on advance tickets.

The 33-year-old US pop star has a third show scheduled for February 18 next year in Melbourne at MCG and a fourth concert in Sydney at Accor Stadium on February 26.

Tickets for the new concerts will go on sale Friday at 10am in Sydney and 2pm in Melbourne.

At the same time, remaining tickets for the five shows that have already been announced are going on sale and are quickly sold out.

The new performances complement the existing concerts in Melbourne on February 16th and 17th and the shows in Sydney on February 23rd, 24th and 25th.

Frontier Touring announced two more shows Thursday morning after experiencing “historically unprecedented demand” for tickets in this week’s advance sale.

“No more dates will be added for the Australian tour,” the promoter added.

That means fans in Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide lucky enough to snag tickets will have to travel to either Sydney or Melbourne.

Tickets are available through the Ticketek website. Prices range from $79 to $379, or up to $1,249 if Swifties want to treat themselves to a VIP package.

General ticket sales on Friday are open to everyone.
