The artist had said during a concert on Wednesday in Cascajal, Santo Domingo, Villa Clara that “the band is mourning, but we are professionals”.

No details have been released about the death of the popular pro-government singer’s brother.

Fabré, defender of the Cuban regime, recently denounced that the San Luis Department of Agriculture “evicted” him from the land he rightfully inherited from his parents in Santiago de Cuba, affecting several family members.

Fabré believed that there were many unjust laws allowing the eviction of land that historically belonged to his family, although, as usual, he was careful not to embarrass the regime with his allegations: “I’m not saying anything against something or someone is addressed. but I speak for truth and justice.”

The measure also affected his brother.
