NBA icon Michael Jordan is best known for his legendary work on the basketball court — but there’s another, very different sport that’s close to his heart.
The 60-year-old is a huge NASCAR driver and is regularly spotted at the circuit watching some of the biggest names race. So where better to take your wife, Yvette Prieto, than on a night celebrating the popular series?
MJ and Prieto, 44, traveled to Nashville last week for a rare date night to celebrate the start of the NASCAR Ally 400 race weekend.
The pair lit up the red carpet as they posed for photos at the Electric Jane, where they were joined by a host of other celebrities and big names.
Bubba Wallace, one of NASCAR’s biggest stars, was in attendance, while his rival Kurt Busch and country music star Garth Brooks were also in attendance.

Jordan is keeping a low profile with his wife as the couple celebrate their 10th anniversary this year.
They met at a Miami nightclub in 2008 and three years later, in 2011, Jordan proposed to the Cuban-born model.
They tied the knot in 2013 at a lavish ceremony at Bethesda-by-the-Sea in Palm Beach, Fla., attended by the likes of Tiger Woods and Spike Lee.
In recent weeks, Jordan made headlines when it was reported that he was selling his majority stake in the Charlotte Hornets for a staggering $3 BILLION after owning the NBA team for 13 years.
Just last week, they picked Brandon Miller as their #2 pick overall in the 2023 draft, and while MJ is reportedly keen to cede overall control, he is reportedly keeping a minority stake in the team.
Jordan acquired a minority interest in the Hornets in 2006 but became majority owner of the team in 2010.
Jordan’s tenure with the Hornets was fraught with poor results, unlucky deals and poor management — including from Jordan himself.

Since his first full season in 2010-11, in which he had majority ownership, the Charlotte Hornets have compiled an overall record of 423-600 – with just three winning seasons.
During that time, they only made two playoff appearances, in 2014 and 2016 – both ending in first-round losses to the Miami Heat.
Since their last playoff appearance in 2016, the Hornets have never finished higher than ninth in the Eastern Conference.
It all culminated last season with a 27-55 record – Charlotte finished 14th in the conference and bottom in her own division.
