Friends of a groom-to-be went to great lengths for the bachelorette party, staging a fake kidnapping so believable that neighbors called the police over the incident – and even passed out.
Dressed in balaclavas and armed with fake weapons to imitate terrorists’ clothes, the nine friends, aged 23 to 31, would have come to the house last Saturday to kidnap the groom-to-be after gagging him and violently in Turin loaded into a van. Italy, CNews reported Monday.
Except that the staging would have been so believable that panicked neighbors would have immediately flooded the emergency number with calls.
According to French media Torino Today, an elderly man has also lost consciousness and needs medical attention.
However, the nine friends and husband-to-be were found and handcuffed shortly after outside one of their homes for “raising public concern”, prompting a police operation and roadblocks to find the van.
