Adam Thomas is reportedly set to sign up for an appearance on Strictly Come Dancing.
The 34-year-old actor is best known for his role as Adam Barton on ‘Emmerdale,’ but he rose to prominence when he starred in 2016’s ‘I’m A Celebrity,’ where he placed third.
And now the TV star is said to be eyeing a spot on the BBC dance show this year.
Adam, who is married to his wife Caroline Daly, previously gushed about his love for the series and even joked that he would love to “experience” Strictly’s infamous curse.
A source told The Sun, “After two decades on screen and as one of the Thomas brothers, he’s bringing an immediate massive following with him.” It’s what Strictly bosses love.

Uh oh: Adam, who is married to his wife Caroline Daly (pictured), previously gushed about his love for the series and even joked that he would love to ‘live’ Strictly’s infamous curse
“Producers also see him as someone who can fill the role of young Adonis, which is important and often leads to their picking of soap opera stars.”
Web has reached out to representatives from Adam and Strictly for comment.
Soap hunks have done well at Strictly in the past, with Hollyoaks’ Danny Mac finishing second in 2016, while Adam’s Emmerdale pal Kelvin Fletcher emerged victorious in 2019 after being drafted in at the last minute to replace Jamie Laing.
The likes of Corrie’s Will Mellor, EastEnders stars James Bye, Jake Wood and Davood Ghadami have also attended in the past.
Adam is one of a trio of famous brothers: twin Scott appeared in Love Island, while older brother Ryan is known for his role as Jason Grimshaw in Coronation Street.
The actor, who stars in ‘Waterloo Road’, married his wife Caroline in 2017 and they have children Elsie-Rose, five, and son Teddy, eight, with him.
In April, the full line-up of judges and professional dancers for this year’s Strictly Come Dancing was confirmed after successive BBC bosses were angered over pay rises.
Despite the row, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Anton Du Beke and Shirley Ballas will all return to the judging panel when the show returns.
