The unimaginable superfight between billionaire businessmen Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk is starting to gather so much steam that even the Italian government is reportedly getting involved.
There really is no telling how serious Zuckerberg and Musk are about taking on each other in the Octagon of the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC), but so much has happened already. UFC President Dana White had already spoken to both men over the phone about a possible fight. The bookmakers have already published betting odds. Even top UFC fighters like Jon Jones and Deiveson Figueiredo offer their services to help train the inexperienced tech billionaires.
On Thursday, the Italian government threw its hat in the cage by offering to host a possible clash between Zuckerberg and Musk, according to TMZ. According to the first report, an Italian government official contacted Zuckerberg about his argument with Musk at the famous Coliseum in Rome. Details beyond that are scarce, but Musk hinted at a possible clash in Italy on Twitter late Thursday night.

“A random battle ensues in the Coliseum,” Musk wrote.
As of Thursday night, TMZ updated its initial report, adding that the Office of the Culture Ministry issued an official statement on the Coliseum rumors, saying, “There has been no formal contact from the ministry, nor any written document, even if the news Appears tasty, she is unfounded.” The statement continued, “If Zuckerberg and Musk were going to perform at the Coliseum, they would have to put up a nonviolent challenge.”
Despite this latest statement, TMZ is still speaking with sources who again confirm that the ministry did in fact contact Zuckerberg and then sent a request to White and that a call is scheduled for next week.
It’s currently unknown what’s true and what’s fight bullshit, but it seems that this superfight between Zuckerberg and Musk isn’t going to end anytime soon.
