Zelda Tears Of The Kingdom has been in our hands for almost two months and the game continues to be talked about for many reasons. Today your new episode of JV Débat invites you to answer a very important question: is Tears Of The Kingdom really better than Breath Of The Wild?
It has to be admitted that The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom falls far short of its predecessor on certain very specific points. For example, there are major narrative issues throughout the title. You get the impression that the first game just never happened, that the events never happened. While there are obvious references to Breath Of The Wild in Tears Of The Kingdom, the main ones are absent. Where could the divine creatures have gone? Where have the guardians, shrines and sheikah towers gone? It’s quite disturbing to see that very few NPCs recognize Link in game, even though we’ve met them all in the first episode. If our hero constantly asks the other characters where the different cities are, even though he has already visited them in the first work, the immersion is also a great success. To find out more, we invite you to watch our new episode of JV Debate, available at the top of the article.
In general, Tears Of The Kingdom might not offer as many challenges as its big brother, especially when it comes to exploration. If you had to rack your brains to gain access to the Sheikah Towers in Breath Of The Wild, that’s clearly not the case here. Once a scout tower is found, all you have to do is let yourself be propelled into the air and let yourself be carried away by the paraglider and the power of Babil to reach another tower in no time. Especially in the depths, which are only used for very specific situations, the exploration leaves little room for variety. Let’s also talk about the game’s menus, which require unprecedented organization and time to navigate in them, having to remember all the commands. Who hasn’t made the mistake of activating one power instead of another, or throwing an item when you meant to throw your weapon? For more information, see our new episode of JV Debat available at the top of the article.
“Are you joking or what? Of course Tears Of The Kingdom is better!”
If the above arguments are admissible, We must not forget that it is logical to also believe that Tears Of The Kingdom is superior to its predecessor. Simply because the game uses the same things as Breath Of The Wild but adds twice as much content! So how could it be less good with Link’s new powers, all the changes to the map, Heavens and Depths to explore, multiple Korogus, caves, pits, quests and so much more to explore. Why couldn’t we quote you here? For more details, you can find your new episode of JV Débat directly in autoplay.
Tears Of The Kingdom is like three games in one. The three levels of exploration make the most of each feature and difficulty of the title. The interface offers a perfect balance between combat and exploration. The depths correspond to a pure exploration phase, allowing you to exploit the survival instincts that the game demands of you. Finally, the sky allows to make the most of the creativity acquired thanks to the Emprise and Duplicate powers. Is Tears Of The Kingdom Superior To Breath Of The Wild? This is the subject of this new episode of JV Débat, which you can find above. Under FKZ’s arbitration we find on the one hand Panthaa defending the idea that Breath Of The Wild remains superior to his little brother, on the other hand Anagund saying that Tears Of The Kingdom obviously superior to Breath Of The Wild may be.
