The last Michigan player to win a Mega Millions or Powerball jackpot is lottery club Wolverine FLL, who claimed a $1.05 billion jackpot in March 2021. With their profits, the group wants to give something back to the community.
And while they were lucky winners, it’s wise for players to check their tickets right away, as a $1 million winner sold at Warren 2021 went unclaimed. The money went to the state’s school aid fund instead.
