A Cuban man living in Miami was arrested by police after stabbing his mother but not before hitting her with several blunt objects.
The local media report identifies the defendant as Sean Michael Cuesta, 36, who allegedly murdered the woman at a North Miami Beach apartment building.
The owner of the property approached the killer and asked him what happened. He tried to hide the crime and limited himself to the answer: “My mother died.”
The incident happened on the night of Sunday, June 11, when security forces received the alert from the victim’s husband, identified as Connie Cuesta.
It was the same complainant who discovered his wife’s lifeless body lying face down on the floor of the home’s master bedroom.
The first investigations revealed that a heated discussion was being held between the victim and the perpetrator, which intensified in the course of the protocols. The killer then threw objects at the woman before attacking and stabbing her four times.
Turns out Sean Cuesta didn’t live in that place, although some times of the year he was preparing to stay.

Although the Cuban tried to divert attention by making false statements, Miami police monitored his involvement in the incident using surveillance cameras.
The last time the victim was seen alive was in the morning of the same day, when he left his home at 11:00 a.m. and returned almost an hour later with several bags.
Following his arrest, Sean Cuesta appeared in court Friday and was charged with second-degree murder. The authorities decided not to release him on bail, leaving him in the county jail.
