John Cena opened a big door during Money In The Bank when he hinted that WWE could host a WrestleMania in London, UK. These words were not followed by an official WWE announcement or confirmation of dates for future WWE shows in the United Kingdom.
So is the project real? It doesn’t appear to be so on paper, as Triple H spoke about it in a press conference following Money in the Bank and was content to declare, “Never say never” when it comes to making a WrestleMania in seeing London, he says:
“I’ve been coming here since the early ’90s and it’s spectacular.” My favorite shows and my favorite moments happened here. We did Insurrection here and there was always a nice atmosphere. It’s tough for WrestleMania. I want to say that it is easy and you can do PLE in many places. But I can say this: If we look at 2023, three of the last four PLEs have been international. This is not an everyday thing. All shows sold out, Elimination Chamber, Backlash and Night of Champions. We are an international company and we want to stay that way, never say never. “It’s harder than it sounds, but the intent is there.”
WWE therefore intends to hold a WrestleMania in London, but unfortunately there will be no concrete announcement in the next few months.
