The One Ring has finally found an owner! The new ultra-rare Magic The Gathering card from The Lord of the Rings has just fallen into the hands of a collector. This person is already a millionaire.
A ring everyone wanted to find
Not long ago, Wizards of the Coast landed a big hit with the collaboration around Magic The Gathering cards with the Lord of the Rings universe. Of course, the new cards on offer include the One Ring of Sauron. And a special edition of this card just recently really got fans excited.
In fact, there is a single and unique example of the ring in an extremely rare edition with text written entirely in Elvish, a glossy relief and a different image of the ring. A single copy has been valued at more than $2 million. An unbelievable sum that has prompted many collectors to go in search of this jewel. But that search has already ended, while the card has just been found by one lucky lucky guy.
The treasure hunt is over
The information was confirmed yesterday by the official Magic The Gathering Twitter account. The Map of the One Ring was found by someone. It has already been authenticated and certified by the PSA company, with a condition value of 9. This is a poor value, but one that should have little impact on the card’s rating.
One ring to rule them all, one ring to find them all, one ring to bring them all and bind them in the dark.

The happiest person right now is from Whitby, Canada. This person wishes to remain anonymous for the time being, but confirms that he will “review all takeover offers”. And the bids are increasing rapidly. The One Ring was originally priced at $150,000, but the price rose to $1 million following a takeover bid by playing card company Dave & Adam.
However, that offering was eventually surpassed by that of Gremio de Dragones game store in Valencia, Spain. The store is currently offering card redemption for over two million dollars and is also promising a trip to Valencia. In any case, the card is not currently changing hands. Bids for this priceless collector’s item are sure to continue to increase.
