Shortly after 4 p.m. this Sunday, a 22-year-old Syrian from the canton of Valais drowned on the beach at Rolle on the Vaud side of Lake Geneva. The rescue services quickly intervened, in particular the staff of the International Society for the Rescue of Lake Geneva (SISL) and then the Rega helicopter.
