Rodolfo “Rudy” Farias IVwho had been missing since May 6, 2015, was found on Saturday night after eight years in front of a church in Houston found alive in the US state of Texas. As broadcaster KTRK reports, the teenager had numerous cuts and burns when he was taken to the hospital by ambulance.

As the mother tells in an interview with KTRK, she last saw her son on the night of May 6, 2015, when he wanted to walk the two family dogs. A few hours later, one of the dogs returned, followed a day later by the second dog. However, there was no trace of Rudy. Since then, the then 17-year-old has been missing.
On Sunday, July 2, Texas Center 4 Missing, the public search and rescue organization, also confirmed that Farias had been found.
According to his mother, Farias already suffered from depression and anxiety disorders at the time of his disappearance and is still experiencing psychological and mental problems. He is unable to speak more than a few words at a time. Police investigations are already underway.
