The actress Kristen Kreuk played the role of the character Lana Lang in “Smallville: Adventures of Superboy“. She became Clark Kent’s first true love for the first few seasons before he went to work at the Daily Planet in Metropolis.
They were both neighbors and the farmer could often be seen in scenes admiring the cheerleader in the barn. Having a chance to finally be together, Lana absorbs kryptonitebased powers and decides to escape the love of her life.
A previous article published in Online Séries revealed what happened to the character after her final appearance on the series. She ends up in Africa and becomes a heroine helping orphaned children.
Kreuk explained during an interview with Metro (via UOL) that he decided to get involved in new works after years of playing the same character on “Smallville.”
“I love the people on the show and it’s a wonderful show to work on, but I realized there were things I couldn’t do because of Smallville’s schedule,” said the actress.
The actress stated that she had a lot of fun playing Lana Lang and that she wasn’t bored but was willing to try something new.
“Lana has changed a lot since the first season. So it was always fun to play with her. I just wanted to try something different. It’s not that I was bored with the show.
