The harrowing tale of two abandoned dogs who comfort each other while awaiting rescue Woopets

They refused to move away from each other, knowing full well that they would get through this together and by shaking hands better. Two abandoned bitches discovered by a passer-by have been able to reconnect with hope thanks to the latter and then an association.

Thelma and Louise’s situation seemed hopeless but after intervention by a club they managed to recover, The Dodo reported.

In all likelihood, these two bitches have recently been abandoned. They lay on the street, leaning against a fence and huddled together as if to encourage each other.

A woman passing by was moved and sad as she witnessed this spectacle. She asked about them in the neighborhood, but no one knew them. She then contacted Suzette Hall, founder of the Logan’s Legacy association.

The smallest is a Yorkshire Terrier crossbreed. His relative is a pit bull. “Apparently they’ve been there for about a week,” Suzette Hall told The Dodo. All the neighbors said they only showed up recently.”

When she discovered the duo, the volunteer immediately thought of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Danny DeVito in the comedy Twins (1988). 2 creatures so different yet so similar…

While they appeared “wiped out” and distraught, their attitude completely changed when Suzette Hall approached them. Their eyes shone and their bodies came alive. “I got out and started talking to them. They were very excited. They looked at each other, tails wagging, as if to say, “Oh my God!” “Someone came for us,” says their benefactor.

Looking for a loving family for these inseparable friends

The smallest was the first to go to her. The pit bull followed her. Suzette Hall had no trouble getting her into her vehicle. She considered putting the older one in a cage during the trip, but the four-legged friends wanted to stay together. She therefore decided not to separate them.

She’s the one she nicknamed Thelma (the pit bull) and Louise (the Yorkshire cross), in reference to the famous duo from the 1991 film.

After a veterinary examination, the bitches were in good health. Above all, Louise needed a good care and Thelma had to take care of a few minor scratches.

Now Logan’s Legacy is looking for a foster family, or even better, an adopter. Thelma and Louise obviously need to stay together.
