EXCLUSIVE: Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s big UK takeover continues as they recruit Paul Hollywood as the face for the actress’ alcohol brand
The huge success of Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively in the UK continues after the actress signed Paul Hollywood to be the face of their new alcohol brand.
The bake-off chef will appear in commercials for Betty Booze, the high-end line of ready-to-drink bourbon and tequila cocktails, after befriending the American couple.
Hollywood, 57, filmed the clips and posed for photos at a shoot in west London on Tuesday, which was attended by Ms Lively.
The material is believed to be used not only in the UK but also in the US, where the brand is also sold.
It comes just a week after she and Reynolds – who owns AFC Wrexham football club – visited the Bake Off-set, where they posed for photos with Hollywood and his co-star Prue Leith.

A source close to Ms Lively, who rose to fame in 2007’s US teen drama Gossip Girl, said: “Paul is quintessentially British and Blake and Ryan are deeply immersed in all things British.”
“They think Paul is great and Blake thinks that with his huge following he will sell a lot of their products.” It’s all very random, but she wanted a Brit on board so she reached out to Paul.
“They have all become really good friends and Paul is looking forward to seeing Wrexham play next season.”
Last week, Reynolds and Ms Lively posed for photos at the Bake Off tent in Welford Park, Berkshire.
Hollywood posted a photo of themselves next to Ms. Lively with the caption, “Sorry Prue, Blake (@blakelively) has taken your place… Welcome to the cake corner Blake.”
Last week Ms Lively, who gave birth to her fourth child in February, announced she was launching a range of ready-to-drink alcoholic drinks, an extension of her Betty Buzz mixer brand, calling it Betty Booze.
The range includes a sparkling tequila with smoked oak lemonade and butter, a sparkling bourbon with apple ginger sour cherry and a sparkling tequila with lime shiso.
They have an alcohol content of 4.5 percent and are made with mineral water, juice and spirits, and no artificial colors or sweeteners.

Sharing her news on Instagram, Ms Lively wrote alongside a photo of her posing with drinks, “Drinking isn’t my thing.” But damn it, the taste is. Homemade Recipes. real fruit. real ingredients. quality liquor. no shit Also a real time saver. That’s why I really did it.’
However, the star was the victim of some backlash when she admitted she doesn’t drink alcohol but does benefit from selling the liquor.

Reynolds, 46, is also the frontman of Aviation Gin, which he sold to Diageo in a deal worth up to £466million. Since buying Wales Football Club in 2021, he has immersed himself in British culture and has been spotted shooting in traditional English pubs.
Reynolds is currently filming Deadpool 3 in London.
