Just days after the death of Robert De Niro’s 19-year-old grandson, his mother has released details of the possible cause of death. In the caption she posted to Instagram, Drena De Niro responded to a user asking what happened.
“Someone sold him some fentanyl pills that he knew were cut but were sold to him anyway. So let all these people who keep selling and buying this crap know that my son is gone forever,” the 51-year-old grieving mom replied.
After the teenager’s death became known, a representative for Drena and Robert De Niro said, “There is no comment at this time.”
