We recently met the actor Normand D’amour, who, for the STAT newspaper, lends his facial features to Doctor Pascal St-Cyr, a feverish character that viewers have fallen in love with.
Admittedly, the actor is no newcomer to television, having been rolling his stomach in front of the camera for almost 40 years. However, he told us that he had never been involved in a project that attracted so much attention from the general public.
As with the cast of District 31, the comedians and comedians of STAT are particularly popular with viewers. In addition, the daily newspaper’s ratings were around 1.6 million each evening.
Normand D’amour told us an anecdote that shows the popularity of the series and its character.
“I was at the casino the other night. We wanted to see the show “C’est si bon!”, we wanted to do ballroom dancing. After that I decided to go to the casino bar. You know I’ve been famous before, that’s good, I’m still skinny. But there, there… the photos, this, that. It’s almost too much. »
We can understand the followers wanting a photo with Doctor St-Cyr’s interpreter, but we can also understand the actor wanting a little more intimacy on a romantic outing.
