In June, MEGADETH boss Dave Mustaine gave an interview to the Bloodstock TV podcast and, in all lyrics, said guitarist Marty Friedman was the only former member of the group to have accomplished anything musically.
Guitarist Jeff Young, who played in the group between 1987 and 1989, chatted to the podcast Disturbing The Priest and disapproved of Mustaine’s lines, noting that the musician is an idiot who only promotes misinformation and lies.
Young said, “I made a Brazilian music album that went to number one! Idiot Dave Mustaine’s mission is to spread misinformation and lies. The funny thing is that he references the song Liar [faixa do álbum So Far, So Good… So What!] to other people, but he has to look in the mirror. The things you say and the songs you write, you write about yourself.”
