Almost twenty years later Jennifer Garner will once again take on the role of Elektra. The actress will reprise the character dead pool 3according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Garner debuted as Elektra in the film Daredevil, in which he played the lead role Ben Affleck in 2003. The character’s solo film came two years later, in 2005. Back then, the actress was one of the first women to star in a comic book character’s solo film.

This will be the antihero’s first film after taking over Fox for the Disney and therefore the first to take place in the official chronology of the MCU.
The two previous feature films from 2016 and 2018 played more than one $1.5 billion at the worldwide box office. The first Deadpool was directed Tim Miller and the sequel, released in 2018, was directed by David Leitch.
