Emanuela Orlandi, her brother Pietro, finds the car’s four tires slashed. The Lightning in the Night

An action at night, almost certainly targeted: Unknown vandals tore open the building all four tires the minivan of Pietro Orlandi, the brother of the girl who disappeared in 1983, who has been fighting for the truth for 40 years and who has recently been at the center of heated controversy because of his statements about Pope Wojtyla. The blog Notte crimee reported on the vandalism episode. The lightning attack may have taken place during the night in between July 5th and 6th: Emanuela’s brother’s family car (who has six children) was parked Borgo Pio, a few hundred meters from his home, which is on Via della Conciliazione. The damage was reported under police: the fact that Pietro Orlandi’s van was the only one attacked and that the other cars parked nearby were not even attacked touch suggests that this was a deliberate action by someone who obviously knows some details of Peter’s private life.

The research is extensive, but there is a possibility that the offense may be related to the voltage generated by the device televised statement by Pietro Orlandi, last April on the La7 program DiMartedì (“Pope Wojtyla went out in the evening with two Polish monsignors and certainly not to bless houses”), who may have armed some exaggerated or mentally disturbed. A few weeks later, Pope Francis also intervened during the Sunday Angelus prayer and spoke of “insulting and unfounded” allegations. And on the same days in the Letter box from Emanuela and Pietro’s mother, Maria Pezzano (who still lives in Vatican City) was left a letter that read, “Dear Pietro, you are a liar and you know it!”. Shame on the reference to Wojtyla.” Leave a message anonymous, which was probably written within the sacred walls (the envelope was not stamped). ([email protected])
