A “Third Luminous Paradise” ideally connected to all 1,600 installations and events around the world, it has been created here with 16 heaps of colored webs – as many as Lake Iseo communities – illuminated by an outlining LED Outline crossed and connected are the famous reinterpretation of the mathematical sign of infinity, created by our most famous contemporary artist, illuminated in Montisola on Saturday July 8th.
Viewed from above, it looks like a new constellation that sees an olive branch in the middle and reminds of the 17 goals of the 2030 Agenda on the one hand and the “preventive peace” it invokes on the other. Michelangelo Pistoletto, Plumber. Next to the “Third Energy Paradise” are the works of Angelo Bonelli: “Ballerina Sequence” accompanies the vision, “Floating Ballerina” announces it by moving on the water with specially created background music.
The work is the result of an articulated collaboration between Cittadellarte – Fondazione Pistoletto, A2A and the Banco dell’energia Foundation, the philanthropic body that supports people in economic and social need and implements projects related to combating energy poverty.
The work stages and makes spectacular the net, one of the emblems of the island, symbol of the local craft tradition and current business district of international importance. It is made of recycled materials, the nets made on the island and the abandoned LED lights from the works of Light is Life, as a sign of infinite rebirth. And with the same materials, after the dismantling of the work after July 23, a new work will be created that will remain permanently in Monteisola.
