Mark Wright interrogates his father-in-law Michael Keegan by asking him three things he likes about him

Mark Wright embarrassed his father-in-law Michael Keegan on Monday when he asked him to name three things he liked about him.

The 36-year-old TV personality has been married to Michael’s daughter, Michelle Keegan, 36, since 2015.

And after Michelle’s family flew over from Tenerife to visit the Wrights, Mark decided to have some fun with him.

Speaking to Mark Wright at Heart Feel Good Weekend, Mark revealed that not only is his wife’s family in the studio with him right now, but it’s time for a little quiz.

He said: “Now because they’re in the studio and I like embarrassing my father-in-law Michael Keegan, who’s from Tenerife by the way, he has a bar called The Bee’s Knees which I’ve named. I made up the name and I will never let him forget it.

“Michael, I’m embarrassing you now, are you ready?”

Michael enthusiastically responded, “I’m ready Mark, come on!”

“Three things you like about me?” Mark asked.

Michael replied, “Three things I like about you, just three things?”

Laughing, Mark said, “Don’t seem so surprised…give me three main reasons.”

Starting off, Michelle’s dad said, “You’re taking care of my daughter on my behalf…”

“…good answer, and now you’re not stuck anymore,” chipped in Mark.

Michael continued, “I like your burnt sausages; You were very nice.’

On site! Michael was up for the challenge and told Mark, “I’m ready, Mark, let’s go!”

Amused, Mark said, “That’s a good father-in-law lying to make me happy.”

Michael further clarified: “…No, I liked your burnt sausages, they were very tasty, I didn’t like the burgers, they were undercooked, I had a stomach ache all morning, I think it was your burgers…” ‘

To keep things rolling, Mark continued, “Another thing you like about me, you have 10 seconds.”

“You have beautiful teeth,” Michael concluded.

Michael’s response was met with a big studio round of applause, while Mark continued, “I’ll take that, thanks, that was called father-in-law right away.”

Their radio fun comes just after Mark fought back the trolls who claimed he and Michelle never see each other and say they always “have good times together” – they just don’t post anything about it.

The presenter told Web that despite being married for seven years and sharing their newly completed Essex home as a couple, the public often overreact when a photo is seen of him and Michelle.

Their hectic careers include Mark spending a month filming BBC One’s ‘A Wright Family Holiday’ and hosting ‘The Challenge UK’ in Argentina, and Michelle appearing in upcoming Netflix drama series ‘Fool Me Once’ and “Ten Pound Poms” made the fans think they didn’t. We don’t spend enough time in each other’s company.

Mark insists the couple maintain their lifestyle, preferring to keep off social media the intimate moments they share together but also at home when they’re relaxing.

He said: “You know what people say whenever there’s a picture of us together: ‘Rare picture of Mark and Michelle’ or ‘Mark and Michelle reuniting after a period apart’. We just don’t tell everyone when we’re having a good time together.”

“I could be at the house with Michelle for two weeks, but no one will know because I don’t necessarily post about it.” We have a lot of quality time together and have spent many weekends away. We booked stuff.

“We have quality time together, just like any other relationship, and I’m not just saying that… we really do.”
