Hugh Jackman was spotted filming his first scenes for his anticipated role in Deadpool 3 alongside Ryan Reynolds.
The Aussie star is set to reprise his role as Wolverine in the upcoming sequel, having last played that role in 2017’s Logan.
Filming took place on a UK beach on Monday as the two Hollywood stars filmed an epic fight scene in their iconic Marvel character costumes.
Hugh, 54, was back in his yellow Wolverine suit when he was seen wrestling Ryan, 46, who was once dangling from a tightrope.
It appears that production on the third Deadpool film has been moved to the UK to allow Ryan to attend to his obligations with his team Wrexham FC, who were promoted back to the English Football League in April.

In the third film, Deadpool will use Cable’s time travel machine to save Wolverine from his death in 2029 and they will be lost in the multiverse.
While in the multiverse, they are pursued by Mobius, who has access to time travel technology.
The film stars Emma Corrin from The Crown, who will play a villain in the blockbuster.
Ryan tweeted, “New member of the family!” To clarify: The Deadpool family. It’s like real family, except there’s less swearing… Welcome, Emma Corrin!’
He previously confirmed that the premiere date of the film “Deadpool 3” is September 6, 2024.
The day after Ryan announced last year that Hugh would be returning as the late Wolverine in Deadpool 3, the couple sat down for a question-and-answer session with fake fans.
“I had many questions. I am sure you had many questions. But rest assured, we will answer them immediately,” promised Hugh.

Hugh played the Marvel character Wolverine in eight X-Men films from 2000 to 2016 and last appeared in the role in the 2017 standalone film Logan.
He had a brief appearance in the second part of Deadpool, but had previously discounted the possibility of a crossover film between his character and Reynolds’ unlikely superhero.
The surprise announcement was made by the couple in September last year, with Reynolds later assuring fans the project would be carried out in a “Hugh Jackman-approved” manner.
Deadpool 3 is scheduled for release on September 6, 2024.
