Gerard Butler made the most of his trip to Barcelona on Monday, enjoying an action-packed day of sightseeing.
The Scottish actor, 53, cut a casual figure for the outing in a relaxed linen shirt with the top buttons undone.
He wore trendy khaki cargo pants and blue Adidas sneakers to complete his look.
Gerard tried to keep a low profile as he pedaled around town with a pair of sunglasses on his face.
The star has been busy in recent months and only recently left Tenerife after spending 11 weeks on the island to film his new movie Den of Thieves 2: Pantera, which is set to hit theaters next year.

Meanwhile, Gerard recently made headlines when he revealed co-star Hilary Swank was actually seriously injured while filming 2007 romance drama PS I Love You.
The 300-year-old actor appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show earlier this year and told the story of the on-set accident that took Swank to the hospital and left him alone in his boxers.
“She’s so cool and so fun to work with that I nearly killed her,” he told Barrymore.
The actor explained that his character, Gerry Kennedy, was supposed to be hit in the face with a crocodile suspender clip while undressing, but the metal fastener bounced in the opposite direction and instead “slashed” Swank in the head.
“The cameramen had plastic faces to protect themselves from that alligator clip. She was so dangerous I had to ping her and she went past my face.
“This time I crawl to the bed, it gets stuck, comes loose, flies over my head, hits her on the head, slits her head open.” I cut her open, you could even see her teeth [of the clip].
“She needs to be taken to the hospital.” Imagine this studio, literally, and in three seconds everyone’s gone and I’m just sitting there in my boxers, my boots and a pair of socks and I’ve just started to cry.
He says he “almost put out her eye” and “just made a fool of himself” when they shot the scene.

Years later, the heartthrob laughed at the incident while retelling the story, but said the experience gave him impostor syndrome at the time because he was so nervous about working with Swank.
As for Butler’s latest film, in Kandahar he played a CIA agent trying to get out of Afghanistan unscathed.
The film was written by former military intelligence officer Mitchell LaFortune, who based the story on his experiences working for the Defense Intelligence Agency in 2013 while on duty in Afghanistan during the Snowden leaks.
Butler – who most recently starred in the action thriller Plane – plays Tom Harris, a covert CIA agent stranded undercover in Afghanistan when he learns his mission has been compromised.

Along the way, quite a number of Afghan forces will try to kill them both before they can get home safely.
